At
Fylde Dairies we believe that our customers and suppliers
should be entitled to expect the best and receive the best.
For
our customers:
The
Best Quality Products
We source all our milk from farmers on the Fylde who produce
milk of proven and consistent quality. A number of them have
won awards for the quality of the milk that their cows produce.
Our growing range of products, including award-winning cheese
and yogurts, which can be found here, is the result of feedback
from our customers, an understanding of improvements in modern
dairy farming technology and techniques and a desire to improve,
where possible, on even our most basic products.
The
Best Possible Service
Efficiency, accuracy and courtesy are the backbone of any
service business. At Fylde Dairies we would suggest that they
should be the "background radiation" of a service
business.
Our customers told us that they disliked the "robot lady"
automatic switchboard so we made them a promise: if you telephone
us during normal business hours your call will be answered
by a real person with a job in Lancashire, not Delhi, Dublin
or Dumfries.
As a result it may take us a few seconds more to answer your
call but you'll never be asked to choose from a list of options
that takes a minute to listen to before casting you into the
aether when you choose the wrong one.
For
our suppliers:
The Best Possible Price
Farmers deserve to be paid a fair price for their milk but
equally that price needs to be sustainable. We've seen at
first hand the effect on dairy farmers of paying an unrealistic
and unsustainable price for milk.
At Fylde Dairies we have simple goals - we want to pay the
best possible price for milk and ultimately we want to pay
the best farmgate price in the country. Our farmers work hard
for us and we believe they deserve no less. We hold regular
meetings for all our farmers, not just our shareholders, to
discuss market trends and developments so they know exactly
why we're paying what we're paying.
We also get valuable feedback about how they think the business
should be developing.
The Best Possible Support
Whichever
way you look at it being a dairy farmer (or any type of farmer
for that matter) is a tough life and we think that our farmers
should get all the help that we can give them.
That's why we try to keep "red tape" and paperwork
to the absolute minimum - so that our farmers can get on with
what they do best: farming. That's also why all our farmers
have a direct line to our Managing Director, so that they
can discuss problems or issues as soon as they arise and have
our help and support immediately should they require it. |
