Our cheese is supplied by the award-winning firm of J. J. Sandham of Inglewhite.

Founded in 1929 by John James Sandham, cheese produced by Sandhams stays true to its original recipe. Now in the hands of Chris Sandham, grandson of the company’s founder, cheese is still produced at the site where Chris’s great grandfather first built the family house in 1894. JJ Sandham’s range of hand made cheese includes the delicious smoked Lancashire. Sandhams have supplied (and continue to supply) cheese to a number of high profile customers including the "Northcote" restaurant and the gastropubs of "Great British Menu" winner Nigel Haworth.

 Don't fall in the vat or the whole batch'll be ruined

Sandhams have won a number of prestigious awards for their cheeses. Most recently their Creamy Lancashire cheese earned a gold medal at the 2009 Nantwich International Cheese Show.

Fylde Dairies supplies all the milk used by Sandhams in their cheese production.
